The Hess Collection uses sustainable, environmentally-sound practices with the axiom, “Nurture the land, and return what you take.” That philosophy brings with it a dedication to delivering wines that speak to their natural origins.
To create Hess Select wines, the winery seeks out the regions best suited to growing fruit-forward wines true to their varietal character. Hess uses grapes from their estate vineyards and a select group of growers in Napa, Monterey, Lake and Mendocino Counties with whom they've had long-term relationships.
They adhere to the philosophy of sustainable farming and work exclusively with family-owned vineyards. Hess Select wines are benchmark wines from their perspective regions in both quality and price and are designed for immediate enjoyment.
