When Laetitia owner Selim Zilkha saw an elevated and quiet area framed by chalky cliffs in Santa Barbara, he knew what he needed to do. Well, once he asked his team of Lino Bozzano and Eric Hickey, to confirm his dream; plant vineyards in the stretch of remote earth that would become Nadia, the winery.

All agreed that the designated area in Santa Barbara was perfect for growing Rhône and Bordeaux grape varietals. The uncannily amenable growing conditions are fundamental to the depth, sophistication, intrigue and value of the limited collection of wines

Zilkha’s daughter Nadia, which translates to mean “hope” in Russian and “delicate” in Arabic, was the inspiration for the winery.
