Chateau Laffitte Laujac
Laujac has been inhabited since Antiquity. Located in the heart of the Medoc area, the estate of Chateau Laffitte Laujac spreads over 140 acres.

The vineyard consists of silty clay loam and is located near the village of Bégadan. The proximity of the Gironde estuary and of the Atlantic Ocean creates a very favorable microclimate.

The vineyards are taken care of in a traditional way while taking into account recent innovations if they seem worthwhile for the quality of our wine. The cut Guyot double, the Bud control (ébourgeonnage), the Manual removal of leaves (effeuillage) and the Green harvest (vendanges vertes) insure a good maturity of the berries.

Below the vineyards, rich meadows stretch in the polder protected by seawalls. There, the cattle of limousin breed and the herd of French Saddlebred bred in Laujac pasture peacefully.
