Famiglia Losi
The tradition of Famiglia Losi, self proclaimed "defenders of Chianti", can be traced back to the village of Castelnuovo Berardenga in Tuscany. In 1870 Emilio Losi devoted himself to winemaking and cultivating vines and olive trees surrounding the Chartreuse Monastery of Pontignano in Castelnuovo Berardenga.

The estate covers 35 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, arable land, and woods on the hill of Chianti in Castelnuovo Berardenga. The same vineyards Emilio so devoted himself too now fall within the Chianti Classico DOCG and constitue the Famiglia Losi historical productive vineyards.

Generations later the Famiglia Losi still devote themselves to quality and tradition. To remain true to Emilo Losi's devotion as "defender of Chianti" and maintaining the Chianti tradition.
