Bouchaine
Bouchaine Vineyards, located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley, is committed to using sustainable means in making distinctive wines — wines that embrace the essence of the Carneros region. The Bouchaine facility is the oldest continuously operated winery in Carneros, with the original winery built in the late 1920’s.
As Bouchaine Vineyards, we have been making wine here since 1981, when Gerret and Tatiana Copeland of Delaware visited the area and fell in love with the location and surroundings. As a sustainable winery and certified green farm for Fish Friendly Farming practices, they are focused on minimizing their impact on local ecology and the greater environment. One example of their ongoing commitment: the winery buildings’ beautiful façade comes from redwood remilled using the winery’s original wooden fermentation tanks.
The region’s foggy, cooler climate is perfect for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that make wines with compelling and complex character.
